  • You must be at least 18 but not yet 30 years of age except for Canadian and Irish citizens who can be up to 35.

What are the requirements to apply for a second and third Working Holiday Visa (417 visa)?

In addition to the above requirements:
  • You must have complied with all the conditions on your first Working Holiday visa
  • You must have not previously held more than one Working Holiday visa
  • You must have completed three months of specified work in regional Australia while on your first Working Holiday visa
  • You must have not yet turned 31 years of age
  • From 1 July 2019, working holiday visa holders who undertake 6-months of specified work in a specified regional area during their second year can apply for their third working holiday visa.
